All other sites rate fair. The most significant problem in this watershed is sediment. Cane Creek and Ashworth Creek both often show elevated turbidity levels and sediment concentrations following rains. Development, road construction, unpaved roads adjacent to the streams, and some agricultural activities are the probable sources of sediment. Controlling sediment runoff from this area as development continues will be an important element in maintaining water quality in these streams.
