In the following list of datasets, a hyperlink at the beginning of a line links to FGDC standard metadata.
(S) indicates datasets from the Southern Appalachian Assessment (SAA).
The original SAA metadata (not available for all SAA datasets) may contain additional details, but predates the FGDC standard format. If available, a hyperlink after the (S) marker directly opens the SAA metadata for the dataset.
Collection metadata in FGDC format has been prepared for the SAA geospatial database as a whole.
A leading asterisk * indicates datasets for which improved metadata is currently under development.
